Since 1973, the Maria Priadka School of Dance, Inc., has been committed to providing comprehensive technical training to children and adults in the art of dance.
Our approach enables students to evolve into not only confident performers, but to develop their self-awareness and the ability to express themselves both emotionally and physically.
At MPSD, students are taught that dance is an instrument of expression. It is a place to learn movement and enjoy physical, intellectual and social growth that will last a lifetime.
Maria Priadka is a graduate of the Dance Educators of America Teachers Training School and a life time member of the organization which ensures ethical practices and provides modern methods in the teaching of dance. Ms Maria is also a member of Dance Masters of America, by whom she is certified by test to teach, a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) and The International Association of Fitness Professionals (IDEA) to name a few. Ms. Maria is a graduate of Montclair State University where she majored in Early Childhood Education. As a role model to her staff, Ms. Maria is a perpetual student, which she believes all teachers should be.
Each member of our faculty is a dedicated professional, whose love of the performing arts enhances the experience of all MPSD students. Our teachers offer quality dance instruction through enjoyable yet structured class settings, providing a safe and healthy outlet for self-expression.
